Since 2006, the choreographers Guy Nader and Maria Campos have been working on a dynamic and highly complex movement language that pushes the body to its limits. Together, they have developed an extraordinary spectrum of movement that combines contemporary dance with acrobatic and highly virtuoso forms of partnering. In their choreographic compositions, which resemble smoothly running clockworks, they push body and space to their limits and create intense movement experiences.

For SYNAESTHETIX #1, they create two performances from the material of the production "TIME TAKES THE TIME TIME TAKES" to live music composed by Miguel Marin. Together with video artists Lluís Bullón and Pol Mas de Xaxàs (Oscila Studio), they explore different media levels of the choreography, expand the stage into the digital sphere and use live cameras, among other things, to immerse the audience in a multisensory experience.

“TIME TAKES THE TIME TIME TAKES” was born out of an enthusiasm for rhythm and the musicality that movement can induce. Using the pendulum as a leitmotif, GN | MC developed a complex sequence of swinging movements that are triggered and reversed by the complicity of the five dancers. The dance encounters come together to form a perpetuum mobile - a continuous wheel that makes time sensually perceivable as a continuum.
