The Ukrainian music composer and sound artist Heinali has been working on the reinterpretation of Early music for six years. Using a modular synthesiser, he improvises with polyphony and monophony drawing on the ideas and techniques of medieval composers and theorists as well as contemporary approaches to analogue synthesis and generative music.
In doing so, however, he does not reproduce the past, but creates new sensory impressions and meanings. In „Organa Polaris“, he creates an emotionally intense and intellectually stimulating sound experience at the interface between the past and the present, spirituality and technology.
The Berlin-based artist duo u-matic & telematique accompanies Heinali's composition free visual improvisation. Inspired by Gothic architecture, the circle and the tripartite division become central design elements. Circular figures in constant motion take up the polyphonic structures of the music. Spread across three projection surfaces, they create a sacred, futuristic space that turns „Organa Polaris“ into a multimedial immersive experience.

Ute Härting and Sven Gareis work with time-based and interactive media. Their live performances, video installations and workshops include interactive stage sets, VR and performances that project digital images and videos onto public buildings, transforming and expanding urban landscapes and soundscapes. Conceptually, they explore the intangible: different sensations of time, digital creation processes, blurring and erosion, the transformation of errors into content and perceptual phenomena related to the ephemeral physical presence.
